As one of Dubai’s first African Designers, Thando Magumise has built her brand Ntombi Couture from strength to strength. With Particular focus on classic cuts and clean lines Ntombi Couture offers both bespoke clothing and ready to wear pieces.
Thando has a strong background in art, business and marketing and discovered her gift when she won a competition and designed her first piece. After studying finance and marketing, Thando pursued her love for the creative world and business creativity through Strategic Marketing roles for a few years and eventually took the leap of faith to start what is now one of the most recognized African brands in Dubai, UAE.
At the core of Ntombi Couture is the encouragement of positive mental health with a particular focus on designing pieces that highlight what clients love the most of their bodies. Thando has taken part in extensive number of Fashion Weeks and experience in the region has seen her working with the region’s leading photographers, influencers and talent agencies.
