Africa Fashion Week Middle East comprises of five entrepreneurial founders who have a love for the fashion industry and years of experience in their respective fields.
Their vision is one that connects Africa and the Middle East and those of the diaspora. Celebrating our diversity, untold stories and the endless connection between the regions through fashion, art and culture.
Our long-term goal is to create a sustainable platform for creatives that explores opportunity, fosters expression and harnesses talents within our regions.


Aser Levron
A strategic communication specialist and a storyteller at heart, Aser Levron is a PR and Brand Management consultant for clients in the region across a gamut of sectors like retail, FMCG, Finance and Healthcare. Her experience and exposure helped her learn the nuances of the profession and establish unique dimensions to service offerings. Aser founded FiftyFour Creatives, a PR and Digital Marketing company in 2018. Bearing in mind a competitive market and ever evolving business needs, Aser’s operational route is honed by the need for holistic solutions. A multi-lingual with over a decade of experience in the UAE, Aser has thorough understanding about the Middle East markets and has strong ties with media, bloggers and influencers alike; across industries. About FiftyFour Creatives – FiftyFour Creatives is a Public Relations and Influencer Marketing practice, that embraces a multi-platform approach across print, online and digital media. At FiftyFour Creatives we understand specific business objectives and define strategies to achieve communication goals beyond the obvious. Equipped with diverse experience and knowledge in varied sectors, we establish credible brand value through Public Relations and Digital Marketing practices.
Dina Yassin
Dina was born in Sudan to Eritrean parents, raised in the UAE, and lived in London & New York City. She is also a prolific high-fashion stylist and designer whose collaborations with prominent names in the industry have led her to grace the pages of many top tier magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar Art, Marie-Claire, Conde Nast Traveller, Stylist, and Vogue Arabia. She has also worked on several advertorials for clients such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, Chloe, Hermès, Estée Lauder and celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Nancy Ajram, Tyson Beckford, Angie Martinez and many more. She has worked with top creative beauty visionaries Pat McGrath, Eugene Souleiman, Josh Woods, and Eamonn Hughes to style the SS’2013 trends show where the latest technological innovation and beauty trends were shared with the global beauty influencer audience at the Shangri-la in Abu Dhabi through P&G. Photographer list includes Rankin, Guy Aroch, Anna Palma, and Chayo Mata among others. She has been an Acting Fashion & Beauty Editor for Stylist Arabia and a Contributing Editor for many magazines in New York, London and Dubai. She is also at the forefront of sustainable fashion in the Gulf region with which she adopts in her new edgy venture, Efro & Co.


Badrriya Henry
Badrriya Henry founded Fashion Foresight and Semblance World metaverse. Badrriya has a background of working in the fashion industry from supply chain, research and development to lecturing at Raffles Design Institute, Saudi Arabia. She has over 9 years of experience in the fashion industry and has the vision to evolve the fashion industry through technology solutions. Fashion Foresight which started by supplying trend forecasts to brands has now evolved to include technology solutions, business intelligence and immersive experiences. On observing the impact technology has on varying industries, Badrriya found that the fashion industry was lagging behind in using technology resources to evolve and transform the industry. Winning an Epic Mega Games Grant has allowed Badrriya to explore metaverse experiences for Fashion and retail. Allowing Badrriya and her partners to explore metaverse concepts before it became mainstream. With a future powered by technology. Badrriya intends to explore disruptive tech that changes the industry and demands that fashion and retail advance toward intelligent, sustainable and connected experiences along with relevant product creation for consumers. Badrriya, who has been added as a Dubai Future Research Contributor, believes that the future belongs to those brands which think and prepare ahead and she is constantly exploring which technology makes sense for an industry she is passionate about.
Amna Ahmed

Specializing in events and entertainment has provided me with the creative skills to execute bespoke experiences for all events. A hands-on approach to the entire creative process means that each project is curated with the utmost attention from its foundation to the final delivery With over 10 years of experience in Managing and Executing Creative Process From Concept to Completion. Has produced and managed some of the best productions from Launch ceremonies, 360-degree theatre acts, to multi-genre fusion concepts within Community events. Thando Magumisa
Founder and Creative Director Ntombi Couture | CoFounder of The Ethnic Group Thando Magumise is the Creative Director of one of the most recognised African Inspired brands in Dubai, Ntombi Couture. With a background in Marketing, Finance and Art, Thando established Ntombi Couture in the Middle East in 2013. Thando has grown the brand into one of the most recognised African owned brands in the city, with a unique fusion of African patterns, clean lines and classic cuts. At the core of Ntombi Couture is the encouragement of positive mental mental health with a particular focus on designing pieces that highlight what clients love the most of their bodies. Thando has taken part in an extensive number of fashion weeks and experience in the region has seen her working with the region’s leading photographers, influencers, talent agencies and An avid supporter of sustainable, handmade production and giving back to the community, Thando is a CoFounder of The Ethnic Group and works with women-led artisanal communities in rural Southern Africa. She has partnered with over 1500 ladies and assists them to export their products into the global market. This partnership has led to these communities not only being able to provide for their families but has also empowered the artisans to make positive changes to their communities at large.
