An evening of conversation between industry professionals on what Afro and Arab Futurism looks like in the region at Intersect by Lexus.

AFWME took the time to formulate its pillars which are structured around Technology, Innovation and Sustainability. In the discussion, the first Arab Editor in Chief of Harpers Bazaar Middle East, Salma Awwad, noted the challenges creatives and brands faced in the region and what it would mean for Africans and Arabs to identify and claim what futurism means for them in the region. Dr. Peter Stojanov touched on the strategies needed when exploring our pillars and what that would mean for our city of Dubai.

AFWME concluded the night with networking at our event host Intersect by Lexus in DIFC,  Village.
